EBONY MAGAZINE NAMES LISANE BASQUIAT AND JEANINE HERIVEAUX TO THE 2026 POWER 100 LIST

Thank you, Ebony Magazine for naming us to the EBONY Power 100 in the Artists in Residence category as co-administrators of the Estate of Jean-Michel Basquiat. To be recognized for stewarding our brother’s legacy is surreal.

This year’s theme is “The Stories We Shape,” and it centers on narrative ownership. That’s everything to us. We’ve spent years making sure the world meets Jean-Michel as the man, the brother, and the son we knew.

Being honored for that next to Debbie Allen, Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz, Colson Whitehead, Charm La’Donna, and Rashid Johnson means more than we can say.
